TRANSACTION SETTINGS
The Transaction Settings set-up wizard is designed to let you control how customers will interact with your store. You control the minimum order amount, order and payment methods set the order notification process.  
     

 
STEP 1.

ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT

If you want to set a minimum order amount, for instance $25.00, you will use the Minimum Order Amount option.

Check the [ ] below to enable this option. Then, the shopping cart will NOT display a [checkout] option for your shoppers until they add enough items to their cart to reach the minimum dollar amount you specify.

The 'checkout' button will appear in the shopping cart when the customer's order totals more than the minimum dollar value set.

If you do not want to establish a minimum ordre amount, simply leave this option disabled

STEP 2.

ACCEPTING PHONE ORDERS

You may wish to offer your customers an off-line order option. If you enter a phone number in the field below, this option, will appear on the initial page of the check out button, along with a display of your online order options, i.e., which credit cards do you accept.

Offer the phone ordering optios by filling in the numbers below. You can change this number as you wish. Changes will be immediately reflected in your cart.

STEP 3.

SET CURRENCY PREFERENCE

Select the currency for your cart from the drop-down menu provided below. The default currency is the US Dollar. You may only select one currency for your cart.

Once selected, the currency type along with the price of each product will be displayed to the customer at the point of selection. It will also be displayed in the order check out and confirmation.

TIP: Add a currency converter to your website for customers who operate in a difference currency than you do.

STEP 4.

FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

You can display the types of payment you prefer from COD to American Express. To display this information to your customers, simply check the boxes of the types of payment you accept.

The payment forms you accept will then be displayed on the first page of the order check out process. They will and again be displayed on the Finalize Order page which your customer uses to submit their order.

C.O.D. is automatically set for you as the default payment method and you can un-check it if you do not wish to accept this as a form of payment.

For merchants with an eSellerCart Credit Card Services account, the Visa, MasterCard, and FirePay settings will be automatically selected for you when your eSellerCart Credit Card Services account is approved. You will need to add any additional methods you want to accept such as check, money order and COD.

STEP 5.

SET ORDER NOTIFICATION PROCESS

eSellerCart allows you to set an order notification process so you or your designee are notified of orders as soon as they happen.

We recommend enabling both options to minimize delays in processing and shipping orders to your customers.

For security purposes, email order notifications do not include credit card or confidential payment information. You will log-in to your secure admin panel to access payment information and process the order from the Order Manager wizard.
